Q: Are you licensed?
A: We are licensed, bonded, and insured.
Q: Do you harvest Orchids from their natural habitat for resale?
A: We DO NOT collect any plants grown in the wild or take plants from their natural habitat unless it is a sponsored scientific event. The plants in these instances are only used for research or to save an endangered species and are closely monitored by proper authorization.
Q: What precautions do you use in keeping your plants pest & disease free?
A: We manually inspect and treat all of our plants for pests, etc. In addition, our nursery is inspected every 45 days by the Division of Plant Industries; a division within the Department of Agriculture. This is to keep us informed as well as offer another eye to check for any and all pests, diseases, or problems, and how to correct any problems if there are any.
*As the name of our Nursery implies: We do our best to "KEEP THE SCENE GREEN!" We use organic means for control and growth.
